The Story of the Angry Young Man

I had just gotten out of class one morning, and I was climbing down the stairs to leave the building, when I saw another student downstairs, sitting on a bench next to the elevator. He had an angry look on his face, a scowl. I wondered what had made this kid so angry, when I noticed he was looking up toward a middle-aged woman in a blue jacket climbing up the stairs. When he looked at the woman, he had a look of contempt. The woman, on the other hand, seemed rather oblivious to the angry young man, even as he kept his hot blooded gaze upon her. Finally, the elevator door opened, and the young man dashed into it. This entire event occurred in only a few seconds, but looking back, I swear it was an eternity.

The question remains: why did the young man have such contempt for that woman? I do not know, I can only speculate. Also, what was that young man going to do when he intercepted her on the second floor? By the way he dashed in the elevator, I can only guess that he planned to burst out of the elevator in front of the woman and kick her in the head, before she knew what was what.

I know some people will question the accuracy of this story, and say that the angry young man had no plans for the woman, he was just was waiting for the elevator to open. To that I say phooey. Also, hogwash. Some may say he had his evil-eyed stare directed at me, which would make sense considered how many people hate me, oh so very much. But I know what I saw: I saw the angry kid on the bench watch the woman in the blue jacket, with an expression as angry as the sea. And why he wanted to bring harm to that woman, I cannot say. I would have warned the woman about her impending kick in the head, but I wanted to hurry up and get back to my room.

Angry Young Man
This is a very accurate rendition of what the young man's scowl was like. Except it was more menacing. And he wore glasses. And he was in color.
Angry Young Man's Mind
This must be what his rage looked like inside his mind.
