I Broke the Internet
If you have had trouble trying to access Dumbbaby lately that's my fault, sorry for the inconvenience. You see back in June I overdosed on Full House episodes and wrote an article about my hatred of Joey Gladstone. Little did I know, back in that innocent time when I wrote that article, the impact it would have on all of our lives. For you see on December 11th, Collegehumor decided that my hatred of Joey Gladstone was worthy of being one of their three dozen Hotlinks! Hotlinks! for that day. Finally my work was able to reach its ideal audience of high school students who want to look at pictures of penises made out of snow. I say high school students, because really, how many college students are entertained enough by snow penises to go searching for pictures of them on the internet? Actually, there are probably a lot of them, but they're all morons.The downside of being linked on Collegehumor is that the large amount of traffic it brought utterly destroyed Dumbbaby's bandwidth, which as it turns out, could only handle twenty people a month. Yes, having one small link among forty other small links on one popular site for a day was enough to ruin us.
So Dumbbaby was upgraded, and can now handle well over forty five thousand visitors per day. Unfortunately it now costs so much to run Dumbbaby that both me and Billy are going to have to declare bankruptcy and sell several vital organs. I'm not sure what we are going to do next month, because the government only lets you declare bankruptcy once every six months, and it takes awhile to grow back vital organs.
So if you try to access Dumbbaby and it appears that there are some technical troubles, cut us some slack. It's not easy running a successful internet website which gets over ten hits per day. Of all the non pornographic humor based websites, Dumbbaby is definitely one of them.
