Video Game Comics

Seanbaby.com was one of the first websites that I started visiting regularly because it was funny. Today it still remains one of my favorite humor based sites. Unfortunately ever since he started getting paid to write by magazines he has been ignoring his website. Apparently he's to cool to write stuff for free these days. Some of my favorite pieces by him are the ones where he goes on wild adventures with his fellow internet writers. I know that if I were to meet him just one time we would have an adventure so awesome he would have no choice but to write about it and put it on his website. Alas, however I don't know where he lives so it seemed like it would be impossible to meet him.

That is until I realized he was writing for Electric Gaming Monthly. All I would have to do is get a job with them, and I would be sure to meet him. Trouble is I can never get hired by them. I can't review games because I suck at any game made after 1999. Here's my sample review of Metal Gear Solid 3:

The game was fun until I got stuck under the house for 40 minutes.
Then I tried to get away by dressing like a scientists and got killed.

I sent that to EGM, and they responded with a letter telling me that I'm a "very special gamer" and that if I believe hard enough then maybe I will write for them when I grow up.

My dreams of meeting Seanbaby were dashed, until I realized another way I could get into the magazine, comics. They have Penny Arcade and that one shitty comic on the last page that isn't funny featured in every issue. All I would have to do is create an internet comic about video games, wait for it to become the most popular comic in the world, and they will have to ask me to let them use it. Then I'll tell them that I want to see their operations before I sign any papers. I meet Seanbaby at the office and the next thing either one of us knows, we're on a breath taking adventure in the Orient battling robot baby smugglers.

Video Game Comics

Video Game Comic follows the lives of Temp Narcly and Edort Falicom. Temp is a diehard Playstation fan, and Edort is a diehard Nintendo fan. Against all odds these two opposites have forged out a friendship but that doesn't mean they don't have their disagreements, especially when it comes to video games.
