"Should I Stay or Should I Go"Season 3 Episode 7
Canadian airdate: October 29th, 2003
Today's episode begins HOT. Craig and Ashley are making out. Craig makes a move to undo Ashley's belt and get to the sweet sex hole within, but Ashley isn't ready to go all the way, as the kid's say. But Craig has a rock star's libido and is going to need to get sex from somewhere. If Ashley won't spread herself for him, Craig's going to have to go elsewhere, perhaps to a whore. And who is a bigger whore in Degrassi than Manny "The Dirty, Dirty Slut" Santos?
No one. That's who. Manny is the biggest whore ever.
Craig notices that he and Ashley aren't getting as much action as Spinner and Paige. Paige and Spinner are in love. Paige is all like, I'm blowing you a kiss, and Spinner is all like, Black Power, babe.
Craig needs a way to woe Ashley. At first, he buys her a dozen roses but that isn't enough because Ashley is an ungrateful bitch. Seriously, she got so mad over Craig buying her all those flowers. God, Ashley you are an ass. You were so much cooler before you became a Goth. I know pre-Goth Ashley would have given Craig a blow job right there in Media Immersion as soon as she got the flowers. You'd just need to lace the flowers with ecstasy.
Craig asks Spinner for advice on how to get Ashley into the sack, so the Spinster tells Craig to perform one of his gay songs to Ashley. That works like a charm. Ashley is mesmerized by Craig's shitty guitar playing and agrees to have sex with him later that night. Whoa!
Meanwhile, Snake still has cancer and is understandably depressed by it, since he could die from it after all. Spike, though, is a fucking bitch, and orders him to go bowling with Joey. Snake is whipped, so he obeys Spike and gets out her house. At the bowling alley, Spike is surprised to see another bald man show up, a man who must be the lead singer of Linkin Park.
Actually, that's Wheels, some kid from the original Degrassi series who killed someone or something, and Snake is mad at him for that. But Snake has too much cancer to stay angry and soon, he, Wheels, and Joey are rocking out in their new bald bowling team. Then they drive home drunk.
Hey, a birthday party! Spinner and Ashley have organized a surprise birthday party for Paige, which is really nice of them, since that is way more than Paige would do for either of them.
Craig tells Spinner in private that he is going to tap Ashley's ass later that night. In typical Spinner fashion, Spinner blows it for Craig by blowing up a balloon to represent an erection. That Asian kid don't know what is going on behind him. But Ashley does, and is mad at Craig for bragging to Spinner. Ashley and Craig argue before she walks out on him.
Well, now Craig has to fuck something. He was waiting all day for this and now Ashley calls it off. Luckily Manny is there. The Latin tramp makes her move on Craig and before long, the two are making out and doing who knows what else, maybe having sex. Scandalous!
The next day, Ashley apologies for walking out on Craig's erection and wants to get back together, much to the chagrin of Manny. Now Craig has to ask himself "Should I stay, or should I go?"
Despite being subjected to more of Craig's shitty musicianship, I kind of liked this episode. It had some good Spinner, and the Craig-Ashley-Manny love triangle has just begun, and is going to be pretty kickass down the road. Besides Sean's move to the Candy Bandits, this drama will be the highlight of the season.
This episode also gets the record for feeling like the shortest episode in the Degrassi library, as it seems like it only to last five minutes long. This is good, because there is only so much I care for Craig and post-drug using Ashley, so I'm glad it flew by.
Plus Craig and Manny apparently have sex, so that's awesome.
Intensity Level: 150% INTENSE
There's sex. The thing, is this is like the least intense Craig and Manny sex episode, so WATCH OUT for the future JACK.
More Awesome Spinner Quotes:
"Like you know anything about getting to home plate. You're too busy checking out the batboy." - to Marco after the homo accused him of not having sex with Paige.
I found this little fact while looking at the tv
tome.com summary of "Should I Stay or Should I Go?":
In 'Mother and Child Reunion', Wheels had attended the reunion as a parapalegic in a wheelchair- ten years after his drunk driving accident. Yet, when we see him again here (two years later), Wheels walks perfectly well and has no problems bowling. In spite of giving an inspirational talk to Snake about how to keep holding onto life even after terrible things have happened, neither he, Snake or Joey address the fact that he's able to walk again after having been paralyzed ten years!
I don't know the deal with Wheels, because I don't give a shit about the adults or what they did on the old show. I'll just assume Canada's health care system cured his paralysis, but it took him ten years to get an appointment. Whatever.
